The quote I’ve used for this shirt is from a version of “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” sung by The Housemartins, a UK band from the 80’s. I’ve always loved this song and this lyric:
But I’m strong, strong enough to care. The original lyric by the Animals is But I’m strong, strong enough to carry him.

I want to care about the people I live with because we are the family of man and she is my sister and he is my brother and they are my family. Not everyone has enough to be able to care. They have their struggle that may not leave room to give to others. And that’s fine. I feel I have enough to be able to give and should. Being Canadian it’s institutionalized through taxes and health care that people with more have more to give and I think it makes for a more caring society in general.
